Adventure-focused hospitality startup taps Verde to help elevate, enhance outdoor travel experience to build and bring the outdoor community together

SEATTLE, Wash. (Jan. 30, 2019) – LOGE Camps, [pronounced ‘lodge’] the adventure-focused hospitality company, announces a partnership with Verde Brand Communications. Verde’s integrated communication strategy will encourage media and influencers to fully dive into the LOGE Camps experience to better understand its mission of bringing people, product and brand together at a logical intersection.

Inspired by the surf, climbing and camping culture of the 70’s and the relaxed energy of a roadtrip with friends, LOGE inspires people to get out and explore together. Dedicated to creating valuable experiences in previously underutilized spaces, all of LOGE’s locations are previously retired motels converted into dream adventure destinations. From fully stocked equipment rooms and gear for demo to tent platforms and RV hookups, LOGE delivers a welcoming outdoor-adventure focused community at each of its locations.

The brand believes more people getting outside means more people to fight for the environment, and has committed two percent of top line revenue to local nonprofits dedicated to protecting the outdoors.

In 2017, LOGE Camps opened its first three lodging experiences in their home state of Washington: Westport, Wash., Leavenworth, Wash., and Snoqualmie Pass, Wash. They opened a fourth location in Bend, Ore. in 2018, furthering their brand awareness and gaining traction in the Pacific Northwest.

After tremendous success with these four locations, LOGE has big plans for expansion in 2019. The company anticipates doubling its footprint with four more lodging locations planned in Breckenridge, Colo., Estes Park, Colo., Big Bear, Calif. and Mt. Shasta, Calif.

“At LOGE, we see ourselves as redesigning and rethinking what the brand/consumer relationship looks like in a world of product commoditization and race to the bottom strategy prevalence,” said Johannes Ariens, co-founder and CEO of LOGE Camps. “I am excited about the direction we are headed and are confident that Verde will help us achieve our goals.”

Partnering with like-minded brands in the outdoor industry is a priority for the company. LOGE has already established partnerships with 10Barrel Brewing, Black Diamond, evo, Kammok, Nuun, Raleigh,  Rumpl and Traeger, and backing from the folks who have built some of the industry’s most iconic brands including Chrome, Diamondback, Hydro Flask, Keen, Miir, Moment Lenses, Nuun, Outdoor Research,, REI, Salomon and The Seattle Bouldering Project.

“LOGE Camps’ rapid growth is indicative of a clear desire for this kind of brand experience for travelers in the outdoor community and beyond,” said Kristin Carpenter-Ogden, Verde’s founder and CEO. “We could not be more excited about our partnership with LOGE and look forward to helping them increase awareness.”
