Partnership will support Fielder’s Superschools Team to help kids learn about cycling safety.

LEM Helmets, manufacturer of safe, stylish, and performance-driven cycling helmets for road, mountain biking, commute, and kids, welcomes world-class freeride and dirt jump champion Grant ‘Chopper’ Fielder to the family and ambassador team. Competing on the international circuit for years, head judging the sport’s biggest comps, and leading clinics and demos across the globe, ‘Chopper’ is not only an accomplished rider, but a true ambassador of the sport. The partnership will also support Chopper’s Superschools Team in helping to inspire kids about sports, mountain biking, and cycling safety.

“We’re excited to partner with Chopper and support Superschools throughout 2019. His style of riding has always been incredible and at the forefront of the sport, and with his Superschools program he mixes great freeride techniques with true hands-on safety demonstrations to kids across the UK,” said Keith Cozzens, Global Brand Marketing Director at LEM. “Chopper’s an amazing individual who’s helping groom the next generation of riders, and we’re stoked to have him as part of the LEM family.”

For more than 40 years, Superschools has worked with some of the UK’s greatest athletes and told their inspiring stories to hundreds of thousands of children about how they got into sports. Chopper is a genuine believer in helping to push the boundaries of sporting activities and gets to ride some of the world’s most iconic spots whilst judging competitions – like the Slopestyle World Championships and Crankworx. He actively demonstrates his cycling skills in live demos at the schools he visits with Superschools. Along with his cycling stunts, he brings along the full range of LEM’s children’s cycling helmets to show how they should be fitted correctly to ensure maximum safety.

“I’m really proud to be working with LEM Helmets with its great Italian heritage, designs, safety, comfort, and value,” said Grant Fielder, Director of Superschools. “Their passion for cycling really fits in with my love of passing on my skills as a professional mountain biker to the kids. It’s always great to see how excited they get when seeing the stunts and getting to meet some of the legends of the sport we have working with us.”

LEM’s flagship family of products includes seven distinct helmets and 50 colorways in the road, mountain bike, commuter, and kids categories. The brand will soon introduce new, highly-featured road and mountain bike helmets which will compliment its existing collection and further illustrate LEM’s strong product design and development capabilities.

Chopper will mainly be riding in the Flow MTB helmet. Lightweight and comfortable, it provides super ventilation, a custom micro-fit system, and multi-shell EPS technology. In addition, Chopper will support Superschools with LEM’s kids-focused helmets – the Scout and Lil’ Champ. Built for exploring and thrill-seeking on two-wheels, both lightweight lids feature easy-to-use fit adjustability and a rear, red LED light for added safety.

Chopper joins ultra-endurance and adventure cyclist Jay Petervary, 2018 national MTB marathon champ Amy Beisel, and former USA Cyclocross Masters champion Rebecca Gross on LEM’s ambassador team.
