For over 20 years, we have been specializing in working with active outdoor, sports, and lifestyle brands. During this time, Verde has had a constant Seattle PR presence, managing media relations and digital marketing campaigns for a host of Seattle-based companies. For example, working with K2 Sports brands' (K2 Skis, Ride Snowboards, Atlas Snowshoes, and Tubbs Snowshoes) rise to the top of a crowded ski and snowboard industry helping increase sales and awareness in the mid-2000’s during their hay-day. We have continued to work with Northwest brands ever since!

We currently manage PR for several Seattle companies including Cascade Designs’ Mountain Safety Research, you might know them as MSR Gear, Therma-a-Rest, SealLine, Platypus, and PackTowl. As well as one of our longest serving clients, another PNW favorite, Outdoor Research, also known as OR. In addition, in early 2020, we added Diamondback Bikes and iZip to the team.

Our Seattle team consists of Chris Dickerson, our Director of Digital Integration, Rachel Gardner, our Chief Innovation Officer, and Matt Sklar, our Digital Marketing Coordinator. The team has deep roots in digital marketing and PR in Seattle and has previously worked in roles like marketing and eCommerce at evo at their Fremont headquarters and the Zumiez home office in Lynnwood and Everett.

In Seattle, Chris is on the Marketing Communications Advisory Council for Washington's National Park Fund - an amazing organization, helping raise funds for 50-75 projects a year at Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.
