Royal Robbins launches proprietary technology and heritage infused designs for Spring 2025

SAN FRANCISCO (June 11, 2024) – Royal Robbins, one of the original outdoor adventure brands, unveils its Spring 2025 collection. With a driving focus on comfort, durability, performance, and versatility, the new Spring line introduces innovative features and designs tailored to meet the demands of today’s adventurers.

Building on 25 years of success as the brand’s #1 selling adventure shirt, Royal Robbins introduces the Women’s Desert Pucker. Like its predecessor on the men’s side, the women’s Desert Pucker is comfortable, soft, cooling, quick-drying, and made with wood-derived TENCEL™ Modal fibers. They utilize responsibly sourced wood and a process that uses 50% less carbon emissions and water consumption than comparable fibers. This shirt is carbon neutral by mitigating emissions through the brand’s ‘avoid, reduce, compensate’ approach. The women’s Desert Pucker features a short, boxy style in vivid colors for Spring 25.

The new Camino Pucker is the basecamp party version of the Desert Pucker, available for both men and women. Ideal for climbing, hiking, biking, and dancing around the fire, the Camino Pucker features vibrant prints and greater freedom of movement. With a nod to the brand’s storied heritage, the product team tapped into Fish and Caledonia prints from the brand’s archives. Like all Pucker shirts, it’s comfortable, durable and made from wood-derived TENCEL™ Modal fibers and is carbon neutral by mitigating emissions through the brand’s ‘avoid, reduce, compensate’ approach.

Informed by decades of adventures on rivers and rocks, and comprehensive insights into today’s consumers, the All-In Short is durable, lightweight and designed to go anywhere and do anything – you can do it ALL, IN these shorts! Made from recycled nylon, the All-In Short has no annoying liner. This short features a non-slip waistband with interior drawcord, and perfect pockets to keep items safe yet easily accessible. Available in a 2.5” inseam for women, and 5” for men.

Royal Robbins solves the challenge of adventurers looking for robust protection from mosquitoes without the use of harmful toxic chemicals and biocides. The brand launches its proprietary Mosquito Protection Technology™ (MPT) in several key men’s and women’s styles for Spring 2025. MPT is a highly effective, non-toxic, durable alternative to chemical laden materials, making it safer for you and the environment. Tested in the field and in the labs of Vector® Textiles, these tight-weave, engineered fabrics are a robust and durable barrier to mosquitoes, free of chemical repellents and biocides. Unlike chemical based solutions, MPT ‘s protection will not wash away.

New for Spring 25 and offered for men and women, the versatile, wind and water-resistant Wilder Zip-Off Pant is designed for adventure, with zip-off functionality that allows you to convert the men’s pant (pictured: left) into a 9” short, and the women’s pant into a 3” short.

The pants feature two slant front pockets, two patch pockets at the back, and one zip-secure pocket, and are made from 94% recycled nylon and 6% elastane.

The latest addition to the Expedition family, the Expedition III L/S is a lightweight, comfortable, and extremely versatile shirt for adventure. The tight weave engineered fabric makes this MPT™ shirt highly effective at mosquito protection without the use of toxic chemicals. It boasts quick-drying properties as well as UPF 40+ sun protection. The performance Expedition III offers a fold-up collar for additional neck coverage, two side-entry zip-secure chest pockets, as well as a drop-in chest pocket with a sunglasses sleeve, and adjustable cuffs. This durable 100% recycled polyester ripstop fabric is bluesign®-approved ensuring reduced impact on people and the planet.

Additional MPT offerings for Spring 25 include the men’s Amp Lite II L/S and the women’s Expedition Pro ¾ Sleeve.

The brand continues to build on its reputation as a sustainability leader. Eighty-three percent of styles in the Spring 2025 line meet or exceed the brand’s highest sustainability standard, which dictates a product must be made with 50% or more lower-impact fibers, including preferred cotton, recycled polyester, traceable wool, preferred forest materials, hemp, or recycled nylon.

The new Spring 2025 collection will be available to consumers in March 2025 at specialty retailers, and online at royalrobbins.com.
