chamois butt’r announces key sponsorships and athletes for 2018

PLEASANT VALLEY, Mo. (March 28, 2018)  Celebrating its 25th year in business in 2018,Chamois Butt’r, the ultimate skin lubricant and chamois cream developed to improve riding comfort, announces its support and sponsorship of numerous pro cycling teams and world-class athletes for the 2018 season.

With products made specifically for cyclists by cyclists, Chamois Butt’r is rooted in professional cycling and is pleased to continue its long-standing support of leading professional teams - which includes three women’s UCI World Tour professional cycling teams - and long-time Chamois Butt’r sponsored team, Rally Cycling.

In addition to Rally Cycling, Chamois Butt’r welcomes back the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling team. These teams have relied on Chamois Butt’r products to keep their athletes comfortable when training and racing, allowing them to always perform at their best.

Chamois Butt’r is proud to sponsor three tremendously talented athletes: endurance specialist and 2015 Dirty Kanza 200 winner, Yuri Hauswald; 2017 Gravel Worlds and 2017 Dirty Kanza 200 winner and course record holder, Alison Tetrick; and Luxembourgian cross-country mountain bike racer, winner of the 2018 Luxembourg Cyclo-Cross Championship, and second place finisher at the 4 Stage Mountain Bike Race Lanzarote in February, Sören Nissen.

In addition to the professional cycling athletes and teams that Chamois Butt’r sponsors, its own factory-branded club team has grown to include nearly 50 riders based in Kansas City, Missouri. The team participates in group and individual rides and bike events throughout the Midwest.

Chamois Butt’r will sponsor over 200 cycling events in over 40 states this year, including many rides in association with the IBD’s supporting the cycling industry. The brand’s largest presence remains at the Dirty Kanza and at RAGBRAI.
