spring 2022 - new product

What’s New?

With its Spring 2022 collection, Gregory Mountain Products, a leader in pack comfort and design for more than 44 years, is revealing its most advanced product launch to date. The award-winning Baltoro and women's Deva, staples in the premium backpacking category, are reintroduced to the line, with a reimagined suspension system for unrivaled comfort, fit, and breathability. The collection creates a new standard in trail comfort.

In addition to the Baltoro and Deva, Gregory is enhancing its ultralight collection with two new packs, the Focal and women’s Facet. The ultralight design offers dynamic comfort and uncompromised features in a pack starting at 2.32 lbs. In the hiking and hydration category, Gregory is redesigning the Inertia H20 and women’s Swift H20. The collection features a more comfortable and breathable 3D foam back panel, updated 3D Hydro Reservoir, and multi-functional organization. In the adventure travel category, Gregory is redesigning its Quadro and Quadro Pro Hardcase Rollers; and in the accessories category, Gregory is introducing a new rain cover made from recycled ripstop polyester to help minimize each product’s carbon footprint.

Baltoro & Women’s Deva

premium backpacking

Baltoro 65

Baltoro 65

The pinnacle of backpacking comfort and functionality, the Baltoro and Deva, have been a long-time staple and best-seller in the premium backpack space. The new FreeFloat A3 suspension system, featuring an auto-rotating shoulder harness and patented FreeFloat dynamic hipbelt, moves independently from the outer frame to flex and adapt to the natural movement of your body for a new standard in trail comfort. An alloy perimeter frame enables dynamic support and a more stable carry.

The foamless AirCushion backpanel is built from a proprietary 3D mesh structure consisting of 90% open-air for true breathability - while eliminating pressure points. A soft molded gription pad positioned on the small of the back prevents pack slip while carrying heavy loads and is only found on the Baltoro and Deva. Three adjustable torso sizes makes it easy to fine tune the size that best fits your back length and curvature and gives you the options to size up or down to accommodate different body shapes and sizes.

Polygiene® Stay Fresh, an odor control fabric treatment, has been applied to the backpanel, hipbelt and shoulder harness to inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria. And matching performance with sustainability, Gregory reduced the carbon footprint of each new pack by 31% by reducing its use of plastic, using more sustainable materials, and PFC-Free DWR.

The Baltoro is available in 65 [4.92 lbs] and 75 [4.98 lbs] liter capacities. The Deva is available in 60 [4.64 lbs] and 70 [4.7 lbs] liter capacities. In addition, three larger capacities are available in the Pro series: Baltoro 85 Pro [5.52 lbs], Baltoro 100 Pro [5.71 lbs] and Deva 80 Pro [5.22 lbs].

Focal & Women’s Facet

ultralight backpacking

Focal 48

Built for the minimalist, ultralight backpacker, the Focal and Facet mix dynamic comfort with a superlight build for a superior carrying pack. The FreeFloat suspension system is engineered for long mileage days with a 7001 series perimeter frame and 3D ComfortCradle hipbelt. The ComfortCradle hipbelt provides an efficient, supportive carry with flex panels – located at the lower back – that dynamically move with the natural movements of your body. The seamless, wrapping design of the hipbelt provides a cradling fit for pressure-free support.

The ventilated, suspended mesh backpanel is treated with Polygiene® Stays Fresh Technology, an odor control fabric treatment that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria. An internal hydration sleeve with SpeedClip hydration hanger is compatible universally, as well as with Gregory’s 3D Hydro Reservoir. The floating top pocket is removable to shed weight and an ultralight weather flap can be found in a quick-access zippered pocket on the underside of the top lid. A front oversized stretch-mesh pocket is ideal for stashing trail necessities, and side stretch-mesh pockets and a zippered hipbelt pocket provide additional storage. Built with high-tenacity recycled fibers, Gregory was able to reduce the carbon footprint of the Focal and Facet by 29%.

The Focal comes in 48 [2.6 lbs] and 58 [2.65] liter capacities. The women’s Facet comes in 45 [2.5 lbs] and 55 [2.55 lbs] liter capacities.
