spring 2022 product launches

What’s New?

With an eye towards a 2022 rebrand and an updating of company values to endear a new generation to the nearly half-century-old, American manufactured lighting company, Princeton Tec has focused on providing upgrades to their most popular products. The Vizz, Helix, and Remix have all undergone significant upgrades to shine even more light on whichever activity you choose, and as you’ll see from the packaging and logo, Princeton Tec is gearing up for exciting things in the years to come.

Vizz

Waterproof, durable, bright and versatile: the Vizz headlamp makes a great partner in any situation, and updated for 2022 with 550 lumens. The Vizz’s combination of durability and power make it an ideal choice for any demanding environment. The Vizz includes a Maxbright LED that creates a powerful spot beam for longthrow illumination, a pair of white Ultrabright LEDs to deliver a flood beam, and two red Ultrabright LEDs handle close-range lighting while preserving night adjusted vision. Regulated circuitry delivers consistent light output over an extended period of time. When not in use the Vizz can be locked to prevent accidental turn on, and the translucent switch acts as a low battery indicator.

MSRP: $49.99

Helix

Whether the evening brings you to the backyard or the backcountry, the Helix Backcountry (and Helix Backcountry Rechargeable) packs the goods. A micro-USB port powers up the rechargeable battery that allows this lightweight lantern to put out a bright beam that’s easy on the eyes – perfect for around camp or in your tent, and in 2022 packing twice the brightness. The Helix Backcountry has a unique control surface that is free of buttons, yet gives access to a dimmable white mode as well as a dimmable red mode for low-profile use. The Glow-in-the-dark collapsible globe and folding legs help the Helix to shine over a wide area and pack down to fit easily in hand. The Helix lantern design also incorporates several hanging and spotlight options. The globe can be removed to swap the diffused glow to a direct spot light.

MSRP: Helix Backcountry Rechargeable $54.99; Helix Backcountry $44.99

For preserving night vision it also features a cluster of red LEDs for close at hand tasks. Equipped with an asymmetrical single arm bracket, easily accessible battery door enclosure, and large push button switch. The end result; true versatility in a compact, water-resistant, and self-contained package.
