Astronaut Ice Cream, the original freeze-dried astronaut ice cream developed with NASA in 1974, is over the moon to be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. As the stars would align, April 8, 2024 also marks a total solar eclipse, which hasn’t happened in North America since 2017 and won’t happen again until 2044.
